Plot Summary




The movie tells the story of two brothers, Lal Kamal and Neel Kamal, who are princes of a kingdom. Their father, the king, is very fond of them and gives them everything they want. One day, he gives them each a magical bird that can grant any wish. The birds are named Chandra and Tara respectively.

One day, Lal Kamal becomes jealous of Neel Kamal's popularity and happiness. He plots to kill him and take his bird. He hires a witch to poison Neel Kamal's food. However, the witch is caught by Neel Kamal's bird and reveals the truth. Neel Kamal escapes from the palace with his bird and goes to a forest.


In the forest, he meets a beautiful princess named Rupkamini, who is the daughter of a king named Rupnarayan. They fall in love and decide to get married. However, Rupnarayan does not approve of their marriage as he thinks that Neel Kamal is a poor wanderer. He sets a condition that Neel Kamal must build a palace overnight if he wants to marry Rupkamini.


Neel Kamal accepts the challenge and asks his bird to help him. The bird builds a magnificent palace in one night with the help of other birds and animals. Rupnarayan is amazed and agrees to the marriage. He also apologizes to Neel Kamal for his mistake.


Meanwhile, Lal Kamal learns about Neel Kamal's success and happiness. He becomes more jealous and angry. He decides to attack Neel Kamal's palace with his army and take his bird by force. He also kidnaps Rupkamini and locks her in a tower.


Neel Kamal fights bravely against Lal Kamal's army with the help of his bird and other animals. He rescues Rupkamini and defeats Lal Kamal. He spares his life and forgives him for his sins. He also gives him his bird back and asks him to change his ways.


Lal Kamal realizes his mistakes and repents. He thanks Neel Kamal for his kindness and generosity. He also frees his bird and asks for its forgiveness. The two brothers reconcile and live happily ever after.
