Parents need to know that Just Dance Kids 2 is a dancing game made for young children and does not contain any inappropriate material. The hand-picked music doesn't contain controversial lyrics, and the onscreen dancers do not move suggestively and wear appropriate clothing. This game is safe for players of any age.

How do you follow-up a massively popular dancing hit? Crank out a sequel or two, of course. That's exactly what Ubisoft has done with JUST DANCE KIDS 2. As the name suggests, this is a dancing game that focuses on younger players, with a number of songs from kids' TV shows, movies, and pop charts. Gamers follow onscreen dance moves and are judged on their performance. The colorful, animated graphics include actual kids dancing. Featuring tracks including \"Whip My Hair,\" \"Just The Way You Are,\" \"The Gummy Bear Song,\" and classics like \"The Hokey Pokey,\" this sequel is available on all three motion platforms for the first time (Kinect for Xbox 360, PlayStation Move, and Nintendo Wii). Different versions of the game each have something unique. The Kinect for Xbox 360 game doesn't require you to hold a controller and lets you star in your own music video. The PlayStation 3 version can support song medleys and can snap pictures of kids' routines. And the Nintendo Wii version has a new multiplayer mode called Balloon Pop that lets players earn points by shaking the Wii Remote while dancing.

Just Dance Kids 2 is a blast, but only for younger kids. We recommend it for ages up to eight years. The problem is that not all songs will appeal to kids of all ages. (Good luck trying to get a 10-year-old to dance to a song by The Wiggles or "Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes.")

Families can talk about which songs they liked the best and why. Are there any songs you wish they would have included? Do some songs lend themselves to dance moves more than others, or is it fun to learn a new routine regardless of the music?

Just Dance Kids 2 is a video game for kids of all ages. Featuring 40 new songs from artists like Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Elton John, Yo Gabba Gabba!, and new dance routines, kids will get up, start dancing and learn real dance moves.

A plus is the fact that the games developers used real kids for all dances, in order to offer a friendlier and realistic atmosphere. The game also features a multiplayer mode for those who wish to play it with their friends.

Just Dance Kids 2 comes with special features for parents. They can manage the playlist and choose just a number of songs to be played if they want, or they can control the lyrics of the songs, and this way while the kids are playing they have the opportunity to learn the songs as well.

On the other hand, Ania Kwak from GamingExcellence rated the videogame for PlayStation 3 at 78/100, mentioning that Just Dance Kids 2 has a good song selection, has fun dance moves and a kid friendly navigation.

As anyone who has spent more than an hour with a child can tell you, kids love to flail their limbs in a gross approximation of what some would call "dancing." They don't even need music! But to make your child, sibling, or nephew/niece appear less crazy, Ubisoft is releasing Just Dance Kids 2 to give the little ones a beat to groove on. The game is being developed by Land Ho!, and due for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii on October 25.

While the first game was a Wii-exclusive, this one will sport Kinect support on Xbox 360 and Move support on the PlayStation 3 as well. The Xbox 360 with Kinect version lets you create and save your own dance routines and star in a music video. The PS3 Move version snaps photos with the PlayStation Eye and lets you select song medleys. The Wii version includes a multiplayer mode called Balloon Pop, in which you shake your controller to earn points while dancing.

They each also include a new Nonstop Shuffle mode, where you can set it to play for 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes without having to stop to select menus. Perfect for exhausting your kids before bedtime. No, I did not say you could stop dancing, Timmy!

Ubisoft hasn't released a full list of the 40 tracks, but has mentioned a few set to make appearances like "Love Me," "Whip My Hair," "Just The Way You Are," alongside songs from kid-centric TV shows and movies, and covers of "Burnin' Up," "Barbara Ann," "Shake Your Groove Thing," and "I Am a Gummy Bear." Plus we'll get some classic kids songs that old-timers probably remember from kindergarten, like "Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes," and "The Hokey Pokey."

"Just Dance Kids 2 provides families and kids of all ages with exciting new features building upon those elements that first made the game a success," said Ubisoft senior VP of Sales & Marketing Tony Key, in the press release. "For the first time, Just Dance Kids 2 will be available on all three motion control platforms, making it a must-have family title. The game will get kids active and moving while bringing the entire family together, laughing and dancing in their living rooms."

Featuring 40 fun and crazy dance routines to kids favorite songs, including hits from today's most popular artists, TV shows and movies. Just Dance Kids 2 gets kids of all ages up and dancing with colorful graphics, super-fun dance moves, and kid-friendly gameplay!

The all-ages dance party continues with Just Dance Kids 2 (Just Dance Kids in Europe)! Kids can get movin' and keep groovin' with 40 all-new dance routines created for kids and led by kids. The soundtrack blends top hits with timeless classics, songs from favorite TV shows, and even nursery rhymes for li'l dancers. Tracks include "Whip My Hair," "Gummy Bear," "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," tunes from The Wiggles and Yo Gabba Gabba, and more. Kids can make their own setlists, parents can create a timed non-stop shuffle, and four players can dance together. A Wii-exclusive Balloon Mode adds a twist, challenging kids to shake their remotes and pop balloons as they move to the music.
